Steve Macleod

Artist, Creative Director and Senior Director at Metro Imaging

Award winning Creative Director based in London, Steve has been at the forefront of photographic imaging for over twenty years, collaborating with a vast network of clients and developing new and innovative photographic printing practices. He is currently a Senior Director at Metro Imaging, Europe’s leading photographic production house.

Steve also spends time curating; lecturing and mentoring, he acts as an arts advisor to several individuals and organisations and was awarded with a Fellowship of the RSA for his services to industry and education. He is a Trustee of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust; a life member of Frontline Journalism club and was this year awarded with a Professorship to University of East Anglia.

Steve is a practicing artist with works being held in both private and public collections and is represented by Atlas Gallery in London.

He is looking for individuals that have a clear idea of their practice and concept; someone who can communicate their ideas and yet are finding it difficult to break through or connect with market.

Steve can offer over twenty years of experience in photography practice, with a substantial contact network from his involvement in all aspects of photographic practice. From editorial; commercial; fine art etc, Steve is involved in publishing; commissioning; curating and mentoring and can offer constructive insights into the industry and "how to make a go of things".
